Different Indifferents

The next day , I went to school as usual and it was fine . After all the classes had ended , I was ready to head to Lucia as I had promised her to do so . I had told my mom already that I would be late as it could take time . I reached the school gate , suddenly Finn called me up . I turned around and he was running towards me showing sign to wait for him . I stood there and he came trying to take control over his breath as he ran fast . I asked him why was he calling me . He replied , " You are going to visit Ms. Monet , aren't you ? How could you leave for there leaving me ."  I asked , " I told you yesterday that you shouldn't bother yourself for anymore visits since you have already done that and also what will you do between us two girls . I was worried what exactly happened to my father . He came to my mom with his red and tearful eyes and said something in her ears , I was curious . After he finished my mom also found her eyes to be tearful . I asked what happened . She said , " We have to return home,  now ". I asked her aggressively,  " Mom, what happened I asked , I don't know whether we are returning home or not . Tell me is everything fine . Something has happened . Please tell me what is it " .  She took a while to make her able to speak and then she said,  " Your grandpa iss ... is no more ".  I was frozen , neither did I react nor a single tear shed from my eyes because I just could not imagine that my grandpa who loved me more than his life left me just like that . I was still imagining him to be sitting in the verandah reading his book with high concentration.  We were returning home now . I inhaled and exhaled deeply to calm myself down but could not . Suddenly,  a voice came up , " are you okay ?" . I looked up , it was Finn.  I had totally forgotten that he came with me and just went out for a while to let us talk freely . I said in a slightly fainted voice ,' I am alright , yes I am .....I guess ".  He sat on the chair beside me and said , " Guesses won't work here Ms. Udolph,  I was right behind you two and you seemed lost right at the moment when she brought the issue of coma up . By any chance did anything happened to you and your family in past? I rung the door bell , Finn was standing behind me and after a while , a fair skinned lady in her mid-forties opened the door . She looked terrible as if she had cried for a long time . We greeted her and introduced us . She gave a faint smile and showed us the way to go inside. We entered the house , it was not that big but the way the furniture was arranged , it looked classic. The lady told us to sit on the sofa and she told us to wait as she was going to call Lucia.  I stopped her in middle and asked her out of my curiosity , ' Excuse me aunt , I really sorry to interrupt you but you are ?' .The lady smiled at me and said , ' I am Lucia's mother' . And then she left . After 10 minutes Lucia came , she looked pale . Her hairs were were poorly tied and her face was dry red . Her mother told us to talk while she went to prepare us some tea . That felt weird because she was not a person who would take a day off without any advanced notice and last evening too she left early because of some family emergency , I was worried by now if something had happened to her or her family , if she was okay or not .
