Sometimes things just come out of the blue

The next day , I went to school as usual and it was fine . After all the classes had ended , I was ready to head to Lucia as I had promised her to do so . I had told my mom already that I would be late as it could take time . I reached the school gate , suddenly Finn called me up . I turned around and he was running towards me showing sign to wait for him . I stood there and he came trying to take control over his breath as he ran fast . I asked him why was he calling me . He replied , " You are going to visit Ms. Monet , aren't you ? How could you leave for there leaving me ." 

I asked , " I told you yesterday that you shouldn't bother yourself for anymore visits since you have already done that and also what will you do between us two girls . Don't take me wrong but I am trying to be reasonable right now ". 

He replied ," Do you remember what we had decided yesterday when you were to take me her house . About the science project , that we won . We weren't able to tell her yesterday , were we ? So , today I am coming too ". 

I stood silent because what he said made sense so I just gave him a nod agreement. 

We still had a 15 minutes walk until we reached her house . Finn suddenly decided to break the silence and said , " Ms. Udolph , do you know a fact, I just read it somewhere . It is said that whenever you hear about some tragedy or see it yourself then some kind of bad thoughts cover up your mind which cause you stress and fear . So, the only thing we can do to prevent this is to immediately fill up our minds with the best memories we've had just like Harry Potter brought up the memories of his parents to cast the patronus charm on the dementors " .

My reaction was surprised and I said ,' What ?" He laughed and said , " Ms. Udolph don't you know , who is Harry Potter , he........ " . I stopped him in the middle and said , " I know who Harry Potter is? But the thing that you just said before Harry Potter just came out of the blue , you know " . 

He smiled and said , " This is what my hobby is , Ms. Udolph ". I again was confused . He continued, " What I mean is that I like to say things out of the blue because they are the best if you want to change the atmosphere in case it is tense or boring ". I just gave him a nod . By that time we reached Lucia's home.  I knocked the door and this time Lucia herself , it seemed she was waiting for someone and that someone was probably me . She showed the way in and then we sat on the sofa . She asked , " Tea, coffee !" . I just said to don't bother about me and Finn's reply was also the same . I just told her to sit with me and also she looked much better today . Finn stood up again as if he was going to leave again . But Lucia stopped him and told him to not bother . He sat again . Now , Lucia asked ," So , what happened about the project that we three were supposed to make ?' . I had almost forgotten that again ......................
