Since we are friends

 " So, that means I am your classmate". 

" Wait, so you are saying that you also recently transferred here and you are in my class".

" No, you idiot. I am saying that I am in that class and you came in my class". He giggled at my silly behavior. I gave him a glare that him stop giggling.

" But why didn't you come to school".

"I had some work to do at home. Besides, it isn't that strange for a student to take a day off. Why? Haven't you taken a day off from school like going on a vacation with family or getting sick or maybe just for fun".

The moment he said the word family, my smile faded away and I somehow ended up standing on that very spot when all those memories of my last trip with my parents came flooding back.

Brian kept walking giggling on his joke and not too long after that he realized that I was frozen without any look on my face. He came back to me. He called my name a few times but I was not there at least mentally. Then, he shook me wit his hands and I finally got a hold of myself.

I looked at him in surprise and he gave me a confused look," Anna, get a hold of yourself. What are thinking so deep by yourself".

I just said it was nothing. He didn't seem to be satisfied but didn't ask questions anymore. And we reached home, while I was bidding him goodbye. He suddenly stopped me," Well, get ready on time tomorrow. We'll be going to school together from now on since we are friends, right".

I was slightly confused since he didn't even properly talked to me when we first met and now when talked for the first time he just directly said that we were friends. Well, it would be better if I could have more friends. So, I just gave him a slight nod and went inside.

Still trying to digest it

 I went back to my seat an asked them how was it and they said I killed it. I hope so too. After the graduation ceremony, we clicked pictures. I was happy to see all of them happy. The feeling was surreal. After that we went home and all of us went out for dinner. Me, Diego, Petra, Paige, Brian and Petra's parents. Brian's parents could not make it to the dinner because her mother was extremely tired from the event and her father didn't want to leave her alone. Lucia was watching me nervously because she knew I hated Finn . But what else could we do other than the completing the project together . We had to complete the project after completing our school classes . So we decided to go to library after classes , and we started working on the project and that didn't go too bad.  I went home , sat in front of the mirror .
